On 23-25 September in Sokolowsko, Lower Silesia, Poland will take place a prestigious cultural event - “Hommage à Kieslowski” – film festival dedicated to internationally recognized polish director Krzysztof Kieslowski, on the occasion of his 70th birthday and the 15th anniversary of his death. “Hommage à Kieslowski” is a highly respectable event – three-day long interdisciplinary Festival which includes film screenings, exhibitions, workshops and discussions – a great opportunity for Krzysztof Kieslowski’s close associates, family and friends, as well as for the young generation of filmmakers, art schools students and the audience, to meet in one place and pay homage to the Director.
"Hommage à Kieslowski" is held under the auspices and participation of Krzysztof Kieslowski's wife, Maria Kieslowska. Among the invited guests are eminent personalities of international and Polish cultural life: Agnieszka Holland, Magdalena Lazarkiewicz, Krzysztof Piesiewicz, Jerzy Stuhr, Krystyna Janda, Zbigniew Zamachowski, Janusz Gajos, Zbigniew Preisner, Sławomir Idziak, Ewa Blaszczyk, Witold Stok, Stanisław Zawislinski, Mikołaj Jazdon, Andrzej Titkow, Marina Fabbri, Petr Vicek, Pavla Bermannova and many others.
