===================================================================
42. Wraz z grupą przyjaciół planujecie wspólne wakacje.

  • Zaproponuj formę campingu i zachęć do niej przyjaciół.

  • Przedstaw wady i zalety tej formy wypoczynku wakacyjnego

  • Opowiedz o swoich doświadczeniach z pobytem na campingach

  • Rozważ koszty i najlepszy sposób podróżowania.

Rolę jednego z przyjaciół będzie pełnił nauczyciel.

(T: School's going to be over soon. Have you got an idea where to go and what to do during the holidays?)

S: I've got a wonderful idea, I think. Let's go camping!

T: Camping? Are you sure it's the best way to spend our summer holidays?

S: Absolutely!

T: Well, what is so special about it?

S: First of all, it's really cheap. All of us can afford it. You enjoy absolute freedom. If you don't like a place, or if it is too crowded, you can simply get up and go. If you like it, you can stay as long as you like. You're the boss. You are active all the time and you're always close to nature. And you literally sleep on air. It would be a real change from everyday living.

T: But I like being comfortable!

S: Well, there's nothing to worry about. Modern camping sites are well equipped with hot and cold running water, electricity, sanitations, baths, showers and even shops and dance floors! We could live either in tents or a caravan. I've been camping lots of times. I'm sure you'll all like it.

T: O.K. But where to go?

S: There are lots of camping sites in Poland. All of us love swimming and sailing. We could go to Solina or to the Mazurian Lake District. Going to Solina by bus will be cheaper. It's not far from here. But if we wanted to go to Mazury, we would have to spend much more money and time. We could go either by train or by bus. Going by train is cheaper than travelling by bus, but bus goes faster.

T: Let's go to Mazury. I've never been there.

T: Hello, my name's Tina. I work for "Yes" magazine. We receive lots of letters from our readers who seem to be interested in exchange visits. Could you tell us how your agency works?

S: Yes, of course. The name of our agency is "Linguapal". We organize international exchanges for young people.

T: Are you a kind of commercial agency?

S: No, we're a non-profit making arganization.

T: How do you arrange the exchange?

S: We send our advertisements to newspapers and schools and then people respond.

T: What does a candidate have to do to qualify?

S: Candidates have to fill in a form which we send to them and they have to write a letter all about themselves and why they want to do an exchange. The form has to be signed by the candidate's parents. They should give us all the information which is helpful in matching the right people.

T: What kind of information is it? What things do you pay attention to?

S: Candidates are asked to write about themselves, about their age, sex, hobbies, their likes and dislikes, about their families, pets, and reasons for which they want the exchange.

T: Thanks for the interview. I think our readers will get all the information they need. Just one more thing. Could you give us your telephone number in case our readers want to call and find out more about the exchange.

S: Sure, it's 012-2568-324.

T: Thank you very much. Good-bye.

S: Bye.
