Seminar

Studies of the Earth Crust Deformation in Central Europe"



Warsaw, 29-30 September 2008

Objectives:
The International Seminar on „Studies of the Earth Crust Deformation in Central Europe" will be organised at the Astro-Geodetic Observatory of the Warsaw University of Technology in Jozefoslaw, Poland, 29-30 September 2008.
The seminar will cover the following topics:


  1. Research on kinematics and dynamics of the lithosphere with the use of satellites observations.

  2. Selected subjects of global geodynamics.

  3. Studies of gravity field variations by the use of geodetic methods.


The Seminar will also be an occasion to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the foundation of the Astro-Geodetic Observatory in Jozefoslaw and to summarise its scientific achievements.

The Seminar program will cover the invited papers (20 minutes each), the contributed papers (15 minutes) and short presentation of posters. The Scientific Committee will decide about the way of presentations.
